Who We Are
Jisun Koo
Hi, I’m Jisun from South Korea, and majoring in psychology at CUHK.
I lived in many different countries, including Poland, Malaysia, Mainland China, South Korea, and now in Hong Kong! 😃
With my diverse backgrounds, I wanted to contribute to cultural integration at CUHK.
This project was a grateful opportunity for me to achieve my wish.
By the way, my favourite place in Hong Kong is West Kowloon Art Park. If you haven’t been there, I really recommend you to spend time there with your friends! 😍
Jacky Cheung
Hello~ I am Jacky, a year 3 student studying Psychology. I am a passionate and extrovert student who loves listening music.
There are a lot of international students in CUHK but we lack a platform to make friends with each other. Even though we might meet international students during classes, we do not have a chance to chat and talk about each other’s culture. Therefore, I am interested in holding an event that would provide chances for local and non local students to make friends and have cultural exchange.
Clare Li
Hi~ I'm Clare, a final year Psychology student from CUHK. With a multicultural background from Hong Kong, mainland China, and Korea, I've had the privilege of experiencing diverse cultures firsthand. I am passionate about connecting with people from various cultural backgrounds and learning about their unique perspectives. I believe that fostering a sense of inclusivity is essential in creating a harmonious society. Hence, it warms my heart to witness the friendships formed among participants in this project, as it reflects the positive steps we're taking towards embracing diversity and fostering unity.
Donald Fung
Hi! I am Donald! I am a year 3 psychology student from CUHK who’s interested in visual arts and loves to exchange ideas with people around me.
Although I may be slightly introverted, having a chance to organise this event enabled me to chat with others. Being part of this meaningful project, it not only provided me a sense of accomplishment, it gave me a valuable experience to engage in discussions with people around the world that gathered together in CUHK. I am sure that my intercultural knowledge and horizon has been broadened through this event. As a local student in CUHK, I can guarantee this event has successfully constructed a bridge between the local and non-local students.
Jacob Chu
Hey there, I am Jacob, a psychology student at CUHK from Hong Kong 🇭🇰
Even questioned your goal at uni? One of the goals for me was to meet more interesting people! I am passionate about bringing different people together as I believe we all have some uniquely AMAZING things to share! This project was an awesome opportunity to work toward that goal. Now I can graduate in peace.✌️
Thank you for supporting us this far. You are truly awesome and loved. See you around.
